One Thing Your Body Loves is Sugar.

Earlier on in my career…in my younger days…I thought I was invincible…I thought “this pony could run on thin air”…

That was until…

I almost collapsed onto one of my patients.

I went to a particularly cosmic…yet down to earth healer…who waved his vibrating hand over me…muttering away.

He eventually diagnosed that:

'You are starving yourself’.

Only then did I realise the importance of blood sugar levels.

One thing your body loves is to keep a nice consistent blood sugar level.

What are blood sugar levels?

What goes in your mouth fuels your body…food is converted to sugars…amongst other things…to energise the cells…which also make proteins.

If you put sugar…white, brown, pink, honey, jam or refined carbohydrates…easily converted to sugar…into your body, it elevates your blood sugar levels very quickly.

This revs up your body giving you a rush. This sucks up a whole lot of reserves as your metabolism freaks out…and then BAM - you get left depleted and drained.

These spikes and lows are very detrimental to your body. Over time…your pancreas…which produces insulin to balance blood sugar levels…eventually collapses from fatigue…which leads to…

Diabetes!

And what does the body do to get the excess sugar out of the blood so you don’t go into a coma?

The quickest way is to turn it into…

FAT.

So, your body loves a constant, well regulated, blood sugar level.

Now…this all revolves around the fact that…

Not all calories are created equal

Sugar, honey…which does have other benefits, refined carbohydrates e.g white flour, pasta, potatoes, baked stuff…all those yummy things…even fruit sugars…benefits aside … all convert rapidly and put the body into stress.

Not to mention the absolute toxic amounts of sugar in soft drinks, sports drinks, bars, lollies, chocolates.

Proteins, vegetables and complex carbohydrates are slow release energy producers…they give an even energy supply over longer periods of time.

One of my patients who was a type one diabetic…and used insulin injections…managed to go off her insulin just by changing her diet based on the above principles.

Sugar is Poisonous

Ditch it now while you can…before it’s too late…It’s an addictive scourge on the body

Seriously, there are many health problems that revolve around sugar.

Any - and I mean any, chronic health condition…the very first thing you do is ditch the sugar.
